Rules, Terms & Conditions for Canine Neuropark Entry:

You have accepted to keep to the below outlined Terms & Conditions including the "Control of hazards" & Animal Welfare by submitting and paying your Canine Neuropark Membership Fee or being allowed to use Neuropark at set weekly times under AOC Tuesday's, your Rehoming or Rescue Charity Memebrship.

FALIURE TO ADHERE TO & COMPLY WITH OUR TERMS & CONDITION COULD LEAD TO THE TERMINATION OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP WITHOUT REFUND OF YOUR YEARLY MEMBERSHIP FEE.

 

To be in compliance with Canine Neuropark's Terms & Conditions:

-> Neuropark is a Rehab park NOT a dog park. Ball and stick throwing is not allowed. Free running is fine.  All Neuropark fields must be used as a rehab park. NO training shall take place at any of our fields. Neuropark has been created for adaptation & habituation through agency; meaning your dog must be able to freely explore while you observe your dog.

->YOU MUST KEEP TO YOUR BOOKED TIME to ensure that the following member can enter freely.

DO NOT LEAVE LATE!

-> All bookings can be rescheduled as often as you need.  Below is the YouTube video link showing you how to:

-> YOU MUST NOT USE THE CANCELLATION BUTTON

(it deletes everything of the booking and you will loose the payment you have made for that booking)

We DO NOT refund cancelled bookings and Memberships.

-> You must pick up your dogs Poop and check around the physio stations and in parts of the maze  your dog has been for your dogs'  excrement before you leave Neuropark.

If it is not fresh poop from your dog, please be a team player and pick it up. The member entering after you, and I, are grateful if you do to keep Neuropark safe for all member dogs

-> BALL THROWING

PLEASE  DO NOT THROW BALLS OR STICKS AT NEUROPARLK. NEUROPARK IS SET UP AS A REHAB SPACE. INJURY IS LIKELY, EVENTHOUGH YOUR DOG MAY NOT ACTIVELY SHOW IT. BALL & STICK TROWING ALSO RIPS UP THE FIELDS AND MAKES IT UNSAFE FOR DOGS TO FREE RUN.

IT HAS ALREADY CAUSED A BIT OF DAMAGE TO THE PARKS, ESPECIALLY THE MAZE WHICH WE DO USE FOR ADAPTATION WORK.

->Your dog shall not be on a short lead while at Neuropark unless it is due to a medical reason. Example: after surgery for physio / gentle exercise purposes

-> If your dog is sick with a transmissible disease or parasites you MUST NOT enter Canine Neuropark

-> Children must stay off Canine Neuropark's physio stations and not handle any Neuropark tools to prevent any injuries.

Canine Neuropark will not be liable for any injuries, especially if the Physio stations and maze are not used in the correct fashion.

If your dog has musculoskeletal issues or / and is otherwise recovering from orthopedic surgery, you must consult with your Surgeon and a Registered Animal Physiotherapist to receive advice of the right exercises your dog can do on Canine Neuroparks' physio stations.

-> Our automated system only uses PayPal for payment of memberships and field hire. You can however, use PayPal's Guest Check Out and pay with credit card if you do not have a PayPal account.

SAFETY MEASURES AT CANINE NEUROPARK:

-> Please keep a safe distance of at least 5m + from other members leaving.

->make use the hand sanitizer, tissues and sprays provided​

PLEASE DO NOT USE NEUROPARK IF YOUR DOG OR YOU ARE SICK!

SECURITY CAMERAS ARE ACTIVE AT NEUROPARK TO PROTECT THE PARK, PROVIDE SAFETY FOR HUMANS AND DOGS USING THE PARK AND TO UPHELD WELFARE STANDARTS.

WE DO NOT KEEP PERSONAL VIDEO DATA OF MEMBERS OR OF THE PUBLIC. HOWEVER IF OUR CAMERAS CATCH CRIMINAL ACTIVITY, WILLING DESTRUCTION TO NEUROPARK OR ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT INCLUDING MAZE AND PLANTS OR WE HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THE WELFARE OF AN ANIMAL, WE MAY SEEK RECORDINGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF EVIDENCE GATHERING

RECORDINGS ARE AUTOMATICALLY DELETED AFTER 24 HOURS IF THE CAMERA HAS RECORDED AT ALL

SINCE CANINE NEUROPARK HAS OPENED WE HAVE ADVERTISED THAT SECURITY CAMERAS ARE BEING USED ON OUT PREMISES AT THE FRON GATE AND THE  BACK FECING IN PLAIN SIGHT

 

CANINE NEUROPARK RULES:

CANINE NEUROPARK IS FOR MEMBERS ONLY.

YOUR NZ$30 YEARLY MEMBERSHIP FEE PAYS FOR THE WEBSITE, WEBSITE MAINTENENCE, BOOKING SYSTEM, PAYPAL BUTTONS AND FEES, ACCOUNTING AND ALL OTHER ADMIN.

THE FIELD HIRE CHARGES ARE REINVESTED IN MAINTENANCE, PLANTING, MOWING, REPAIR, LOCK REPLACEMENTS, CHARGES RELATING TO THE LAND ETC REALTING TO OUR LEASE WITH LINZ.

NEUROPARK IS MONITORED WITH HUNTING & SOLAR SECURITY CAMERAS 24/7.

ANIMALPHYSIONZ & AOC (and their approved & registered associates) ARE THE ONLY REGISTERED PHYSIO & REHAB SPECIALISTS TO GIVE PHYSIO AND REHAB TREATMENT AND / OR TREATMENT ADVISE AT OUR CANINE NEUROPARK CHRISTCHURCH LOCATION.

SPEAKINGDOG (and approved associates by SpeakingDog & Neuropark) ARE THE ONLY TRAINING / BEHAVIOUR CONSULTANTS TO PROVIDE BEHAVIOUR ADAPTATION AND "INFERENCE" PRACTICES AT CANINE NEUROPARK, ESPECIALLY IN THE MAZE.

THE NEUROPARK MAZE IS MADE TO BRING THE DOG'S AROUSAL DAWN THUS NO RUNNING IN THE MAZE.

HAZARD SIGNS & SECURITY CAMERA WARNINGS ARE PROVIDED AT THE ENTRY GATE, READ THEM CAREFULLY.

IF YOU ENTER WITH MULTIPLE DOGS, THE DOGS MUST KNOW EACHOTHER AND HAVE BEEN PROPERLY SOCAILIZED WITH EACHOTHER, BEFORE YOU VISIT CANINE NEUROPARK.

ANIMAL WELFARE MUS BE UPHELD; WE DO NOT CONDONE ANY AVERSIVE METHODS OR TOOLS BEING USED AT CANINE NEUROPARK

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS:

1) All members will be required to read and accept the outlined Terms & Conditions on this page as well as read the "Email News Articles" sent out to members pointing out new hazards, virus circulation and general notices which could affect the members and their dogs safety when entering Neuropark.

Failure to do so may lead to membership termination WITHOUT ANY REFUNDS

2) Ensure you wear proper footwear when you enter the park

3)When you enter and leave the park, be respectful and kind to the next owner and dog and give each other space, curving around each other.

4) Unclick your dog from his/her HARNESS once you entered and locked the gate behind you.

Do not use Head-Halters, no-pull harnesses, chocker's, martingale collars or anything that could restrict breathing, blood circulation, glands, muscular movements, shoulder joints and scapula and the likes  or any aversive techniques

5) Rehab Stations are for dogs only- if you have children with you ensure they stay off the stations. CANINE NEUROPARK TRUST WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF SOMEONE GETS HURT STANDING ON STATIONS OR IN THE PARK ITSELF. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND ADHERE TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE.

6) Rubbish Bin is provided in the park next to the entry gate.

7) Rubbish bin is for dog poop only!!

8) If your dog digs a hole, please refill as good as you can and tap soil down

9) DO NOT Run multiple dogs unattended. This could lead to injury such as muscle sprains, skin rips or even de-gloved tails. Ensure you have the dogs in view at all times.

10) As a user, notify us if any repairs are required to the exercise equipment or Maze immediately so it can be repaired promptly.

11) Management will inspect the park daily; therefore, please be prepared that management may enter and check Neuropark at any time.

12) Any damage to fencing must be notified immediately. Neuropark will stay closed until repairs to the fencing conclude.

13) Any accident or incident at Canine Neuropark must be reported using the Accident & Incident Report Template (below). A copy must be forwarded to LINZ as part of our lease agreement.

14) A First Aid Box is available hanging on the wooden fence. You MUST notify Canine Neuropark if you used the First Aid Box so we can restock it.

15) Dog Trainers, Behaviorists and any canine consultants MUST HAVE permission by the Canine Neuropark owners and Trademark holders (including SpeakingDog) to use the park. MEMEBRSHIP DOES NOT GIVE ANYONE THE RIGHT TO USE CANINE NEUROPARK FOR THEIR OWN BUSINESS PURPOSES. PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE ALLOWED TO USE THE PARK WITH THEIR CLIENTS MUST ADHERE TO ALL TERMS & CONDITIONS, EXPLAIN THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS TO THEIR CLIENTS AND KEEP THE DOGS PHYSICAL STATE OF HEALTH AT THE FORGROUND OF ANY TREATMENT PLAN. THIS IS AFTER ALL ONE OF THE FOUNDATIONAL PILLARS OF CANINE NEUROPARK.

CANINE NEUROPARK WILL REVIEW THE HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN, POLICIES, PROCEDURES & OPERATION REGULARLY.
